Jacob, not Jughead, created Sideways Timeline by Squashua

After watching Recon, I'm convinced that Jacob created the alternate timeline.

Everyone always mentions the bomb explosion creating the sideways timeline.

We know the bomb explosion couldn't have created the alternate timeline; it happened too late in time (the 70's) to have affected so many people so far back.

Consider Jacob. Every time Jacob touched someone in the past was at a moment in their lives when they could change who they are. Kate and Sawyer made (somewhat) different life choices in the sideways timeline. Even though Jacob gave young Sawyer a pen to write his revenge note, Sawyer was caught by a relative, who guided him away from vengeance. This Sawyer decided to follow law, creating the Sawyer in the Sideways Recon episode.
