At least Christian (if not more) = Smokey by Steve Henry

To start with, I'm a firm believer that MIB has taken the form of every apparition we've seen on the island (Yemi, Christian, New Locke, Alex, Walt, etc), and is also the smoke monster. That this one entity has been manipulating time and space through the Losties in order to kill Jacob, and that we as viewers were jumpy to assume that we had ANY contact with Jacob at all, prior to "The Incident".

Of course, there is no REAL sound proof to fully support this, it's just speculation.

But I CAN prove that, for whatever it means, Island Christian and the Smoke Monster are one and the same.

I can't recall the specific episode, but in season 4, at Jack's hospital off the island, Jack goes downstairs late one night to see Christian sitting in the lobby before him. Why did Jack go downstairs? The smoke alarm went off. It must have picked up on something...
