There should be only two Locke’s for the duration of his time travel escapade, right? As soon as he gets back to his rightful place in time there should be one of him again. Yet we see two Locke’s and we think there shouldn’t be since he died. So some people have assumed that MIB has duplicated Locke, assumed his identity, made another entity look like Locke? However, I think it is all to do with manipulation of time.
A silly time travel thought.
Have you seen Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban? When Harry and Hermione go back in time they vanish from the room, go into the past do what they need to do and then have to get back to the room again. When they get there they get back just in time to see themselves leave. What would happen if the time between them leaving and getting back could be expanded? There’d be two of them for longer. How could you achieve such an occurrence? You would need to move the time in which they left in relation to the rest of space time. That’s what happens when the island moves.
