ok quick thought and i need people to build on this. first i think that maybe john locke was on the island before flight 815. kinda like when jack and company boarded 316 to get back the 2nd time. i think at times locke knew things because he was slowly gaining his knowledge of his past time on the island (or furture!?) who knows... but i think thats why john seems so special. like the knowing of when it rains. his confidence in hunting ... or maybe its because jaboc and mib have been doing an off and on thing with taking over lockes body... even as far back as season one ep. 1... with locke waking up moving his toes.... i think that when jacob or mib take over someones body they know everything that has ever happened to that person and can bend and minipulate what they know from ones past to make people think its really locke when infact it is one of the two... let me know i could go on and on
