The basic story of Lost is focused around the good verses evil ying yang theory. The fact that all of the characters have gone through so many changes during their lives (good and evil) reflects on the last episode where you meet jacob and the man who wants to kill him. Jacob is fully aware through time travel the pain that everyone has gone through and moves them about as if they were on a chess board. The man who wants to kill him(John Lock look alike)is dressed in black while jacob wheres white. If Jacob is such a good god or alien or spirit, whatever, why would he put these people through so much pain and death if he knows the outcome of it all. The man in black has known this for some time and has expressed his desire to end Jacobs track record of messing with people by finding a loop hole where he can end Jacobs life. Why did'nt he kill Jacob on the beach way back when the statue was intact. Did Jacob have! protection from him. The fact that the man in black had to use Ben as a tool to kill Jacob makes the ying yang thing more available for discusion, but if Jacob can see the future, how does John Lock fit into the picture.Obviousley Jacobs death was to easy and besides if the man in black can change forms than so can Jacob. I think I know who Jacob will take the form of and it is written on his skin. This just came to me. The point is all of these people are wrapped up in all this crap and they could simply live out there lives in peace and harmony on the island as long as all these power hungry soles would just leave them alone. The nice couple in the woods have it goin on.
