Hello folks,
here is my overall theory on how the story will move on.
I think, the 77ers wont switch time again, because it would be very bad writing, to glue the 2 timelines together by another timejump.
I think timetravels are over now. At least the writers say that.
In my opinion the 77ers will live on and stay in the temple, to make sure, that they don´t meet their past selves.
So Jacob says "They´re coming!" THEY could be the older 77ers. OR THEY could be a group of people, who we forgot about.
Imagine Jacob or some of his followers to visit Aaron and Ji Yeon (and Suns mother, I forgot her name) and convince them to go on a ship (not a plane). And this ship is Desmonds and Pennys ship. Maybe Charles Whitmore and Eloise Hawking are on board aswell. The pieces are set folks. The season will take place on the island. Maybe they´ll flashback to 1977 to show, how they managed to survive. And how they prepare and manipulate the 815ers for their destiny. They will make them build the runway. They will make sure, that everything will be ok and that the loop will go on. As long, as it takes to really change things.
Okay this was my theory.
Just two more thought...
What if jacob and Anti-Jacob are "normal peolpe" and lost aswell. The first scene of The Incident seems very meaningful, but on the other hand it looks to me, as if they are trying to survive. There is the red herring. It means that although Jacob is "immortal"/"timeless" or whatever, he needs some food. And Anti-Jacob needs food aswell. So, in a strange way this reminded me of the 815ers building some kind of civilization. And maybe Jacob hasn´t attracted the Blck Rock through his mega-powers. maybe he just wrote a message in a bottle.
Another thought...
Imagine how uncool it would be, to resurrect Jacob. That would mean, that jacob and Anti-Jacob simply can not die. So Lost would be one gigantic Spy vs. Spy comic, or take itchy and scratchy. Always moving on, and on, and on, and on............How boring. They (Darlton) will ahve a definitive ending in store. And it better be without Jacob resurrecting.
Just my opinion, what´s yours?
