I have been trying to figure out which side is good and which side is evil.
Then I started to think that it was not just about good and evil, but other opposites. I started to think and I found out it was a battle of life and death.
Jacob would represent the life on the island, and the man in black "smokey" is death. For example, take man in black "smokey" first. He has become Locke, yet Locke is dead. He can only copy the body of dead people. Just a few he has copied are Locke, Alex, Yemi, and Christian Sheperd. What is common with all them, they are all dead.
Now lets take Jacob, the live side of the island. He wants every one to come to the island and have it thrive with people. He also controls the "live" people on the island. He is the one who gives them orders and is the high power of the people.
So in conclusion the war that will be happening on the island is about life and death. "Live" island and "Dead" island.
