Ok, first, here are the things we need to know.
1) What was with Bernard when he sees Juliet? Were they living in Jacobs cabin? Where were they getting that Dharma food from? I'm thinking that maybe in the flashes through time, they stumble upon their own bunch of insights, some possibly having to do with what happens in the future, something that makes Bernard want Juliet to stay. Not sure.
2) Locke's body is transported. We can't forget that. In our shock it's easy for us to forget that he was brought there for a reason. Maybe the dead spirit, or what have you, of Jacob, will inhabit his body.
3) The only teaser we get is the same one we've seen 2 already: Jacks eye opening abruptly, laying on the ground in those trees. First when 815 crashes, then when they flash back to 77. That would lead me to believe that is the first scene of season 6, of a scene in season 6 nonetheless, which could very easily rule out that their plane never crashes. If their plane never crashed, Jack would never be able to lay on the ground on the island. Maybe his eye is opening on their flight 815? I doubt it.
If they're plane never crashed, what would any of this matter, like bringing Lockes body to Jacob? If they never crashed, Locke would have never been there, nothing would have ever happened that we've seen so far. I think that's too easy. There is a 'war' to fight, and Jacob says 'they're coming'. Our losties play a crucial role in this war. If their plane never crashed, this would all be obsolete, and all these hints we're be given would have absolutely no point.
I heard that in the opening pilot, there is a major hint of how the whole series ends, and in our teaser, we are given the same shot of jack's eye we were given in the pilot. I'm so confused, but I don't think they're flight doesn't crash.
Ok, the Black Rock sailing. I think Richard Alpert is on that boat. Just a little guess. Also, Horace builds Jacob's cabin, right? And I, as well as many people on this site, think that the bad guy with Jacob on the beach is actually who lives there. What I want to know is, WHO broke the ash boundary? And isn't it crazy that John Locke has really been dead all of this time?
The zombie John Locke is the one who sets up this whole stage of 'him needing to die'. Remember the bad John Locke is who instructed Richard to go into the woods and help the real one.
The thing I don't get is, WHY now? Couldn't numerous people have been impersonated to trick Richard Alpert? I believe that there are 'rules' to go see Jacob, and that Richard is the sort of keeper of Jacob. Richard was tricked by this evil guy or thing that is playing zombie Locke. I'm ranting, but it's just crazy to me. So many lose ends.
But finally, my real burning question is, WHY does Alpert tell Sun 'he watched them all die'?. He wasn't even AT the swan when this takes place??? Either he was lying, or there was an alternate time line that is prevented by the detonation of this bomb. WHERE does Desmond come into play???
If the whole show was simply about preventing the death of Jacob by undoing what was once done, we'd be almost to the end. I don't think that's really what's going on here. Our losties have always played a shockingly important role all along, to changing or protecting the things that needed to. If they are 'coming' as Jacob says, I think he was warning Zombie Locke, not to help him, but to let him know it wasn't over, that whatever zombie locke was trying to accomplish, the good guys were 'on their way'.
Finally, was that scene in the hospital (of Illana) from the future? How did she get so beat up? What happened to her?
I know this is all just ranting, but I feel like remembering the questions is very important in this show, because so many things are always going on we forget so many of them.
Cheers.
