The surviving Losties will stay in 1977 and live out their lives. They will be able to leave the island. The Losties are now in their 60's on the island in present time. Season six will be 2007-2008 but the flashbacks will be of the Losties from the years 1977-2004. We will see them manipulating events to get themselves and the former survivors onto flight 815. We will probably see them work with Ben, Ms. Hawkings, and Charles Widmore.
Hurley will give a young Charlie Pace the guitar. He will influence Libby. You can only imagine all the influences they will have with themselves and our long dead characters from 2004. All these influences will cause the character connections we've seen throughout the show.
A few things I'm wondering about--is Christian older Jack? Could some of Bram and Ilana's team be the Losties children? Is Jacob a stuck in time Sawyer after what would appear to be our Sawyer's death? We'll have more of an idea if all this could be possible after the season five finale...
