Real quick, I'm a first time poster and I'll try to make this as quick and short as possible.
Remember the doctor in season 4, his body washing up on shore due to some kind of temporal delay in island/real world time? Well I think the dead are dead in this show, but when they come back to the island they are some how delayed, much like the doctor but in reverse. Instead of being ahead of time like the freighter doc, they are behind it for some reason, and so arrive on the island alive, heathly and whole.
