This is a theory of how the universe could easily have been undone if Jack would have helped Ben.
So let’s say theoretically that Jack would have decided to follow his Hippocratic Oath and help 12 year old Ben.
Ben’s father would have been better to him, trust me when he’s facing the death of his own son a man will change not to lose the last thing he feels close too.
With his dad a changed man Ben would no longer hold a grudge against him, not to mention LaFleur/Sawyer would of probably tipped of Horace that Ben released the hostile having him and his father ejected from the island.
With Ben no longer on the island or not so hateful the Dharma purge would never have occurred and Charles Widmore would not have been tricked into leaving the island. Now with Widmore still on the island probably for the rest of his life Penny may or may not have been born, let’s say she was for the sake of this.
Even though she’s born she will grow up on the island and never meet Desmond.
Desmond, not having to chase after the love of his life would never go on the boat race (which is non-existent since Widmore would not have funded it) and end up on the island pushing the button.
Kelvin would have stayed pushing the button and Oceanic 815 would have never crashed.
Without the crash of 815 no one would have ever gone back in time to help Ben (by handing him to the others) thus creating a paradox and destroying the universe. THEORITICALLY.
