So Okay, I have been thinking why Sun didn't telported back to the 70's...
She hasn't transported to the 70's because she wasn't there before. Only Jin did.
I think that there is a possibility that in another timeline, she didn't got on flight 815, only Jin did and ended up alone on the island. This was the beginning of the loop. Jin's loop.
In the timeline we know, or the story that's been told to us, she did decided to get on that plane and ended up for HER first time on the island. So now she is back for her 2nd time, and for Jin this will be the start of another spin in his loop. He witnessed everything before, but he can't remember and Sun's memory is just starting her first cycle of looping, I dont know how else to describe it... so if u don't get it, whatever...
Same for Frank, he was the original pilot for flight 815, but as we all know another pilot crashed on that island. He wasn't in the 'original' time line and so that's why he didn't get transported back to the 70's.
I do think that whatever Sun, Locke, Ben and Frank, and all the other people in the new and recent timeline can and will make a diffrence in this loop that they are in.
