From 4:2 Confirmed dead.
"It's, it's an airplane. Oh my God! It's Oceanic 815."
"How do you want your eggs, Dan?"
"So what happened? They found that missing plane? Dan?" She walks over to him. "Dan, why are you so upset?"
Daniel Faraday "I don't know,"
We know that when Desmond Hume failed to get to the Swan in time he caused an electromagnetic discharge that brought the Oceanic 815 onto the Island. What we all do not know is that this event was never supposed to happen. So what we have witnessed over the past five seasons is the Island and fate realigning things to make sure things end up the way they are supposed to be (As what Happened, Happened). The people from Oceanic 815 who came to the Island created an anomaly that will lead to a terrible incident which will ultimately destroy everything if it is not corrected. We have been thrust into a story line that would have us believe that our Losties need to somehow stop the incident and change the time line (which we are told over and over again that they are unable to do). What if they are the incident? What if they should not even exist or ever be on that Island, and because they do they have wreaked havoc in the fabric of space time; and now everything is wor! king to correct the situation.
So we have to ask ourselves, what happened that was supposed to have happened but did not? Basically, the answer is that Oceanic 815 was supposed to crash into the Indian Ocean killing all on board. What if everything we have been seeing is not what was supposed to happen. The producers are hammering into us every week is that what happened will always happen, and unfortunately that is the eventual end of all those aboard 815. Desmond changed the time line and created a temporary tangent time line that is now being corrected piece by piece, person by person by the Island and fate. Because of the anomaly he created, those on board (who all had various selfish life issues) have been given a chance to correct or not correct these issues before the critical decision will be made by them. I believe The Losties will eventually be faced to make the ultimate decision and sacrifice themselves to correct the time line. We see that Fate has been changing each of the chara! cters over the years to get them to this final ending point.
Lost will end with Desmond shifting his future consciousness back to the moment where he caused the crash of oceanic 815 onto the Island. This time he will get to the Swan in time and stop 815 from Crashing on the Island. Oceanic 815 was always meant to crash, but just not on the Island. With the time line corrected, it will now do just that, but this time into the Indian Ocean. We will then see the mess created by the 815’ers coming to the Island all reversed. In the end, we will flash again to a Daniel Faraday crying at the footage of 815 at the bottom of the Ocean and when asked why, again answering “I don’t know”. However, somewhere buried in Faraday’s subconscious is a connection to a time line that never occurred because Whatever Happened will finally happen.Theory by Donald A Salerno Jr.
