Incident never happened.
REALITY DEPENDS ON OBSERVER.
I said it 1000 times. But now I have a proof. We were looking at it from a wrong angle.
When did we first heard about The Incident? Who told us about the incident? Marvin Candle. DI employee.
From his point of view Incident happened but in reality it never happened or it happened at least 5 times so far and we all saw it.
The Orchid Station and the FDW a.k.a. The Incident
Some people joined DI during last 3 years. Sawyer, Juliet, Miles, Jin, Daniel in 1974. They know their only way to sync with their present time lies in the Orchid. Locke did it once. Stopped the flashes. They need to go back where it all begun. Sawyer knows this because he knows that "Son of a bitch did it!" That is the only way. They know about the Orchid and about The well.
So one of them will go back to the Orchid to find the FDW.
And it will happen After Marvin lost his arm at the Temple.
Why at the Temple?
Locke is around Temple. In present. With Ben and Sun. Sawyer was around it in past. At the same time. With Ben, Kate and Richard. Well i believe it is synchronized. Time. So both John and James are walking around it at the same time but different year. 30 years apart. So now little Ben is missing and someone will notice that. What if at some point Richard comes in.. to rescue James because they seems to be friends now and they interacted in these last 3 years many times (episode Whatever Happened Happened). So what if he comes to help his friend...and possibly friends of his friend (Kate, jack, Hurley) and then Marvin, Horace and that dick Radzinski follow them back to the Temple. But the Temple has its security system known as the Smoke Monster who attacks them...and rips his arm of. (The same thing happened to Montand. His arm is ripped of, no? Marvins arm was ripped off too. Coincident? There is no such thing in lost.) And it has nothing to do with the incident. And then ! later..after the "incident" Marvin shot the video. Swan is there. Nothing blew up. What if the incident is FDW? But hey that is not the incident. It is just FDW. Hear me out.
So one of them went to the Orchid. Others are somewhere on the island. Maybe with Richard.
At the same time Daniel is in the Swan working in it or something. He wants to figure out unique energy within the Swan, unique pockets of energy like his mother said. He knows everything about Dharma because he studied it his whole adult life. Maybe at this time computer was used for something. Communication. Maybe it was an experiment that both him and Marvin were working on it. Radzinski too. Marvin comes into the Swan as usual (remember his arm is gone because it happened prior to this scene, Smokey ripped it off). He sees Daniel by the computer but he doesn't care because it didn't matter at the time..but at the same time Sawyer is at the Orchid trying to find the FDW (with the bear, the same one that ended up in Tunisia, and if it involves bear Sawyer had to be there because of the season 3 and the cages) So we know that FDW is one man's job. We have no idea what happens if there are two people inside (Christian is undead so he doesn't count in the scene with Locke). S! o if bear is suppose to turn the wheel then Sawyer needs to guide him or something (for all of you who still think bear couldn't fit in there, well look again. The room is enough for one bear to fit in and There has to be a tunnel that connects Hydra and the main island which is the least of my worries because one polar bear with DI collar ended up at the EXIT point and if it wasn't a bear from this chamber then I don't know how it ended up in Tunisia???) And if bear turned the wheel while Sawyer was inside what happens to Sawyer if he is almost it the epicenter of this unique energy which allows one man/animal to go through a wormhole and end up at the exit point in Tunisia, but not quite in? Bear ends up in Tunisia (Charlotte found him, Confirmed Dead) and Sawyer? Sawyer is stuck in the middle of the wormhole. Thus he becomes Jacob (or whoever is here with the bear, for naysayers) At the same time in Swan Daniel is at the computer probably communicating with someone....t! hen there is a bright light (because bear turned the wheel) an! d Daniel disappears in front of Marvin. Since he has no idea what is causing the bright light (he has no idea what FDW can do) he thinks it is Daniel who did something because they are dealing with unique energy in Swan too...But Daniel is gone...back to his future and Marvin is scared to death. Thus the video DON'T USE COMPUTER FOR ANYTHING ELSE except typing in the numbers...do not use it for communication of any kind..because he knows that Daniel communicated and then suddenly vanished. Together with the loud sound and very bright light. They all see the first light, no? They all heard it. And people who lived with them for 3 years were gone, for good. Imagine the fear. Experiment went wrong. How were they suppose to know they are living with time travelers from the distant future. Poor DI. That was the incident. From Marvins point of view. But from ours it already happened in finale of season 4 when island was moved. A long con that was set up for us since season 2 and the Hatch! . Magic trick. Magician distracts you. So you are looking at it from a wrong point of view. But when he reveals a mystery behind his trick it is so simple. Big and good mystery always is just that. Simple.
