If the shoe fits, then bring something bigger then a Halliburton Case, cause the records on repeat
Hey just kind of a follow up on my theory from before, but I realized something none of us have addressed and that is how Locke is still wearing the shoes that he was given by Jack. That had to have played some part of the proxy process that Ellie was talking about, which is why Locke and Christian had to have gone through the same process. Since Locke was supposed to be there instead of Christian as the dead body in the plane, then obviously since this season has been a nonstop homage to previous ones and giving nods and answers, it is pretty safe to assume the same thing has happened at least twice (and probably with Richard). And that being said, how Christian was speaking on behalf of Jacob as a walking corpse or a manifestation of the smoky, it seems safe to assume that locke is the same or in the process ofof achieving that same position for the island.
And on a final note I find it interesting that there is a secret cash that Illana and Bram were dealing with in the end of "Dead is Dead" and realized that Illana definitely was a proxy for Edward Mars (the sky marshal from season 1 who had Kate in custody) and how the cash probably contains some weapon they can use (and also interesting to note that Caesar died of a shotgun blast, and Mars died of shrapnel wounds, kind of similar). This also was alluded too because when the unnamed survivor runs over to Lapidus he yells how they have guns and are taking over, and this is EXACTLY what Sawyer does with the guns from the hatch thanks to Charlie, where in the end of the episode he declares that "there's a new sharif in town".
It's all one giant repeat, just like Faraday said. The record is skipping, and repeating itself, thus it's all happening over and over again with different people and different situations. It's all one giant throwback to the previous events. The same thing happened with the French Team (sickness, monster, whispers, gun control), the black rock (prisoners in shackles, weapons/dynamite...possibly Richard), Desmond (sickness, Dharma stations, weapons), and Dharma is like what happened to the US soldiers in how both set up traps for the Others (Dharma uses the sonic fence and the stations, while the marines used claymores and JUGHEAD) in their hostile conflict's and encounters. Truces are made in all these periods (Desmond can't leave the hatch or the world ends, Ben tells Danielle not to follow him or Alex dies, Dharma has the truce, Tom made a line for Jack and Kate). And the monster effects everyone I'd imagine cause it's the islands Judge and 815, Ajira, Dharma, French Team,! and Hostiles alike all have seen it (one would assume) at one point or another, since we don't have the full backstory of every side yet.
Lost truly has given new meaning to the term "you sound like a broken record" :) and the term "He's our you" carries a whole new meaning, cause simply put the island is consistent with it's methods and everything happens is at least at this point CONSTANTLY happening.Theory by Chase
