We all know Ben claims to be born on the Island. In The Man Behind The Curtain he says he was born on the island unlike everyone else he brought there. Ben isnt lying though its not the truth. In that same episode we see Bens mother Emily give birth to him off the island and Roger brings Ben to the Island as part of the Dharma Initiative. It was clear to me Ben wasnt truly born on the island.
The truth is Ben was Re-Born on the island creating the "evil" Ben. In last weeks epi Whatever Happened, Happend when ben is brought to Richard he asks Kate and Sawyer are you sure you want be to save him his innocense will be lost and he will forget everything that happened. This is were Bens old memories become erased or removed what ever it be he forgot his past.
