After the recent epipsode, many are noticing that Dharmaville in 2007 from Lapidus and Sun's perspecitve is "ifferent"in various ways. For one example there is still Dharma singnage hanging on the ruined barracks(which should have otherwise been removed based on what we've seen with the "others" and the Losties chilling at the barracks.)
And we can all hear the numbers being broadcasted during the time of the 316 crash landing. (when they should be turned off in 2007 at that point in time.)
People also argue that Jin's presence has changed the Roussou storyline. He was supposed to die, but he was saved by the escaping 06 helicopter getting his attention.
What is this all about? Especially if Whatever Happened, Happened?
How can anything be different from what we've already seen of the future?
Based on those two things, one would think that Lapidus and Sun are in a "new", slightly different future. One that's been changed in some ways.
Daniel Farady is mostly right when he says that whatever happened has happened. But....based on what we know about Desmond and his "Future Knowledge Ability", he has the power to change the future when he delay's Charlie's envitable death.
With "special Desmond" working his magic, and helping Charlie get down to the Looking Glass, he is changing the course of the future. What are the consequences of that?
I believe Mrs. Hawking about most major "future" events being predetermined, and no matter how hard you try to stop/change them. But, by Desomond working his special mojo & slightly changing one thing here and there, it must have created a "butterfly effect" situation down the line in the future. And what we are seeing in Namaste the result of that.
If everything is predetermined, then why are all of these major players trying so hard to influence the events?
There MUST be ways to alter the chain of events(based on what we've seen with Desmond). Even if it's only in slight ways, eventually....down the line, the conesequences could be have a major effect.
Do you think that Future Ben meeting young Ben could be the cause of the Incident?
Or will Faraday be the cause by screwing with the wheel? Or maybe his mother kills him, before he is technically "born" in the timeline.
Would that cause an incident?
Wouldn't it be lame if Jughead was the incident?
I can't wait to see Widmore and the Polar bears each have there chance to turn the Frozen Donkey Wheel ride to Tunisia. Will that be the cause of the incident? Maybe a hyper flashing island?
As a result, during one of the time flashes....will we see the Island suddenly appear beneath the Black Rock in season six?
When will we see Walt do some major badass powerful craziness?
Will we see more of Ethan? Is he more signifcant than we know?
Were Christian and Jack's Grandfather on the Island in the past?
or the future?
Rose & Bernard are totally chilling with Richard and the hostiles. Will he be working his Rambo skills during the purge?
Will Hurley be the one to let the Dharma folks know that the Losties are actually from the future? Would this news shock Chang? I'd love to see how that eventually plays out.
Will we see Mikhail in the 70's or some other point in the past? How he loses his eye?
Would anyone have ever found the frozen donkey wheel if Sawyer hadn't been holding the rope during the flash therefore making that "rope" become an object that will be static throughout any time flahses. (Much like the canoe they're riding in when they're getting shot by that hothead wannabe sayid that crashed along with 316.)
Eventually Desmond will return to the Island....Will that event be associated with the Incident? It would make sense to finally reunite Desmond (and hopefully Penny) with the rest of the Losties at the end of this season, getting them all together for the final run.
And what a run it shall be!!!!! I love this season so much. It's all coming together. I love that the runway exsited....Ben kne wthat they would need it. That's so bad ass. He knows so much more...or maybe he knows only one version of the events.......he's not prepared ofr the altered...charlie contacting the freighter version.
The whispers are totally our Losties....or "Others" or both.....stuck in time...trying to give advice or warning. Eventually...we'll see some old events....from a whole new perspective, where the characters we know and love may be yelling at their past selves, hoping to guide them in a direction. this will sound like a whisper.
The Volcano will be a major plotline of the last season.
