I’m not sure if this has already been suggested but its been bugging me for weeks now, I believe Rose, Bernard & Vincent are with the “Hostiles”. Picture the scene; it’s circa 1965, Richard and the Hostiles are in camp somewhere on the island. All of a sudden a middle aged black woman, a middle aged white man and a yellow Labrador suddenly appear in camp out of thin air in pain. Then within seconds they appear to be in pain again then disappear, the same way Locke did in front of the camp 10 or so years earlier.
Flash forward 15 or so years to 1974, The Hostiles, out and about in the jungle, come across and capture a man and a woman – and a yellow Labrador who appear to look exactly like the ones who flashed in then out of camp those 15 years earlier. They are taken back to camp to be interrogated by Richard Alpert. To Richard and The Hostiles, Rose & Bernard would not have aged in 15 years.
During the interrogation, Bernard being Bernard tells Richard EVERYTHING! From Flight 815 crashing, his time with the “Tailies”, the “Others” attacking them, Benjamin Linus, The freighter people and the time jumping, everything.
I believe this is how the Others had so much information about the 815ers. In the 3 years that have passed, Rose may even have told Richard there was a man on Flight 815 called John Locke who before the crash was crippled but on the island could walk again, further convincing Richard of Locke’s specialness.
I know there is a growing feeling that Rose and Bernard are Adam and Eve and they’ve just been hiding in the caves for the whole time, However, I think Adam and Eve are too big in the story to only be Rose and Bernard, no disrespect. Its more likely, in my humble opinion, Aaron and Ji Yeon are Adam and Eve.
This is my first posted theory so go easy on me! I would love to go into greater detail but I really do need to start work!!!
