AS we recall, daniel faraday said "whatever happened happened" to our left behinders. Now lets take a look at what it really means. There are two scenarios
1) Whatever happened when the 815ers crashed will remain the same when the losties in dharma time return to the future. As it has been said the universe has its ways or correcting itself.(or something like that).
2) What ever happened when the 815ers crash is an alternate future and whatever losties do in the past will affect the future and will also change it.
If you're a superfan of lost u might have read the wonderful theories written by other amazing people(rock on!) and have notice that both theories above have been proven one way or another. An example is the runway whereby BEN knew that he would need it in the future thus started building it in 2004 when it was only used in 2007/2008. The runway proves theory 1.
Frank and SUN visited a destroyed dharmaville in 2008 while losties were in 1977. It had dharma stuff all over it. Juliet/Jack/La FLuer/Hostiles lived there for a while and didn't notice dharma stuff ALL OVER IT?. something teh losties did in the past MUST have altered and changed the future preventing the purged.
