OK, I don't know how to start but what is going on in L.A.?
That is my question. Something is wrong. I will start with Jack. Of course. :)
Jack appearance. That triggered me. He booked his first ticket to Australia the night Locke died (we know this cause Ben told Locke and we know Ben should not be trusted).
He was flying back and forth in hope he will crash, he did it on the weekends, couple of times, so it took him at least 15 days or more. So Lockes dead body was in the funeral home, lying there for more then 3 weeks????
Then after he learned about Lockes death he saw Kate, told her they had to go back, and he tried to kill himself, he got suspended and all this time Lockes body was just laying there?
For all these events to happen takes at least a month. Until Ben showed up. But to me it seems that Jack came to see Locke right after his conversation to Kate. The same night he met Ben again. See? Something just isn't right here. First time he came to the funeral home he looked normal, decent. Second time he came he was a wreck. But now lets go back to Jack in season 4. He is on the plane. He is messed up. Drinking. Hoping to crash. He sees the newspaper. That's the first time he realizes Locke is dead. But he is already flying for at least the second or third time. So Ben lied again. To Locke. Jack didn't book the ticket. He will book it. Whats wrong with these events???? Only if Locke was hanging in that room for days or weeks before his body was found. But still it doesn't make any sense.
Then the famous conversation between Jack and Ben.
'BEN: So obviously John's visit to you made an impression. What did he say to make you such a believer?
JACK: Sawyer, Juliet, everyone from the boat, everyone that we left behind, John said they'd die too if I didn't come back.
BEN: Did he tell you what happened to them after the island moved?
JACK: No. No he didn't.
BEN: Then I guess we will never know.'
So what is this? We know this is not what Locke said to Jack but ok we can assume he did. OK? But there are two things which bother me. And one is John Locke. He went through all that trouble on the island, through horror, time traveling, losing people. And once he came down to the Orchid he did something that most of us will not get even close. He traveled through time in the future. He ended up from one place to another. So Star Trek. And what? When he sees Jack he starts all over again. 'We have to go back! I am special. This is your destiny. You suppose to help me.' end so on. I mean him of all people should know Jack better then that. And by the end of the scene I was like 'Will he tell him about Christian, damn it?' I was cheering. And finally he did it. I was like 'OK, now tell him you met Charles Widmore back in 1954 and that Charlotte died and Frogurt is set on fire' Stuff like that. I mean if I came back with a mission to bring all of them back, people who suffer g! reat deal I would do much better then Locke. Different I mean.
So back to the conversation. He didn't tell him what happened to them after the island is moved.
'JACK: No. No he didn't.
BEN: Then I guess we will never know.'
1. It is so ridiculous that Locke didn't say what happened to them, why are they gonna die? And Jack didn't ask him that???? OK.
2. 'Then I guess we will never know.' How? If you are going back then surely you expect to see them again and ask them like any normal human being 'what happened to you' especially since you left everything behind for some people you knew for 3 months??? And the man who always have a plan surly knew what happened to them so why the remark? He assumed they are all dead by now? Or that they will never enter their time line? And if Ben is the good guy, who killed Locke cause he wanted him to be resurrected and that's the main reason he killed him then he could ask Locke himself or he is definitely a 'bad guy' who knew Locke was dead and that's it. And all of them are dead by now.
Then something else is bothering me. Miss Eloise Hawking (I am not good with these miss, mrs, and so on...so forgive me please, at least I know it's not Hakings :))
The thing that really bothers me is why would Daniel ask Desmond to find his mother? Desmond went through all that trouble, Oxford, Theresa, Widmore, he flew from UK to USA for what? To spend couple of minutes in the Lamp Post? I mean to me Ellie didn't seem to care about what Desmond had to say. And its regarding her son being in great danger??? (she was only concerned about the island how to bring them all back and island not being done with Desmond yet). But if she already knew what is happening and she is helping, like she said she is then why would Daniel go to Desmond in the first place? Was it just because he needed to help in a way or to make him, Desmond, a bate for Ben? To kill Penny and drive Desmond to the island again? But it doesn't make sense. Why would Widmore and Ellie do such a thing? But maybe they counted on Penny not leaving Desmond (they both showed up in LA assuming she kept her promise of not leaving him again), Ben saw Desmond at the church, so he w! ent to look for them. But when he got there Widmore people already waited for him. He knows he cant kill him but he can beat him up and prevent him of going to the island via 316. He used Penny and Desmond as some sort of a bate. But it didn't work out and maybe Penny got killed and Ben wins yet again. You see? Ellie was quite indifferent with Ben around. Assuming Ellie and Charles are close. We know they lived on the island in 50s, we know he founded her son's research, and his 'mistake' Theresa, we know he has her address, she talked to Desmond trying to convince him of going to the island, and now suddenly she works with Ben? No way. But what then? Remember when she took Jack to the room, cause it doesn't concern Ben. Why would she do that if she trusts Ben. If she doesn't know Ben will not be able to pick up Johns body (at this point Ben is the only one who knows where Locke is, but Jack is the only one who knows he should put his dad's shoes on him) then why is she te! lling this to Jack? And if she thinks John committed suicide t! hen she knows he will not be resurrected. Then what? I think she knows Ben killed him, the same way she knew the guy in red converse will die no matter what she does. I think she knew Ben will be stopped at some point and Jack will claim the body. I could talk about this for ages. Like I believe she was responsible about flight 815 cause she is the one finding the portals. IT MUST BE THIS FLIGHT! Cause this flight is the one going through the field. And she knew Desmond will not push the button that day and they will crash. They were all brought to flight 815 in some way...similar to the way Said was brought to 316. He never went to see Ellie and within two days he is captured and being taken to Guam???? OK. So the main question is if she is working with Charles? cause I still believe Charles is in a way better then Ben. (hate anyone who tries to hurt Locke and Ben did it twice). Charles said he will do everything possible to keep John safe. He meant it. Cause Ben didn't die and he ! came back even thou he turned the FDW so it's load of crap. John didn't need to die. And Ben killed him AGAIN! The first time he did it he said 'I should've know it will not work, but i wasn't thinking straight' And now he will try to convince Locke he did it for his own good. Come on! Someone who is this cold and calculated as Ben is simply cannot be the 'good' guy. I am not saying there are good or bad. But still...He tried to kill him cause he heard Jakob. He failed in that point but it doesn't mean Ben gave up on getting rid of Locke. He used him. I cant wait for him to see Locke walking around cause it's the least he expected.
'I will miss you John'
'Then i guess we will never know'
Clearly means he said goodbye to Mister John Locke. Forever. But once in awhile Benjamin Linus should be manipulated, don't you think?
P.S. maybe I was drifting away in some parts, forgive me please. :)
But i hope I was still quite clear. Let me know what you think. Theory by Mo Fyaah
