After watching the latest episode i noticed Sawyer tells Richard about John Locke and how he limped into Richards camp 20 years ago, I went back and watched this episode which of course was `Jughead` and found it interesting how Locke told Richard Jacob had sent him. I found this interesting because 20 years after this Sawyer is in the same time as Horace, Horace of course is the guy who eventually builds Jacobs cabin, so i put the question to you is Jacob a real person or a ghost like character which moves from place to place? I believe he may have been a Black Rock member who died because when a dead body enters the island it either comes back to life (Locke) or becomes a ghost like character (Christian) although we see Ben's mom as well but that is off the subject.
I have also heard a lot about Lockes death and how Ben seemed to kill him once he mentioned Hawkings name, a bit after this when everyone meets up in Hawkings pendulum room she says you must recreate the circumstances in order to renter the island, Ben maybe somehow already knew this and did his best to recreate the circumstances, aka kill John Locke, who took Christians place as the dead guy on the place. Therefore was Jacks fathers death really an accident? (we were told he died of alcohol poisoning) Maybe he was murdered just as Locke was and is actually involved way more than we think because he seems an important character even though he is dead.
I also think that the Losties who have gone back in time are going to be involved with a couple of mysteries from season 1, Maybe Hurley is the one who records himself saying the numbers in the radio station and it is this signal which is picked by the navy member who ends up in Hurleys mental institute (not sure if this is accurate cant remember much) and then passes it onto the post island Hurley which would kind of complete a cycle of some sort, so maybe Hurley in the Past somehow lead Hurley from the Future to the island lol.
