Ok, i'm going to find this hard to explain but here we go im going to try hard. Excuse me if this takes a while or doesn't make sense!
Ok, if you've took any interest in jacob, you will realise from examined pictures that the person we saw in man behind the curtain looks a lot like John Locke. John i think returned to the island to then become the ultimate leader of the "good or light" side of the island. I will go into more depth with this later. When thinking about Jack, I believe that Christian is Jack in the future, and he is working with Jacob/Locke as they are both the ultimate leaders. Jack lead the losties, and Locke lead the others, (eventhough for a short time) But we know locke is special. Jack obviously returned to the island and came into contact with locke knowing that this whole fate/destiny idea makes sense, and they both knew the island was in stake which is why they are working together in the cabin.
How christian/jack got to the island?
Simple, Jack arrives in 1970... he leaves again and realises he needs to go back, he does the exact same thing as locke, gets a fake name of Christian, he dies, and gets taken back to the island to do his work with John. As with Rey, he's too young to be jacks grandad!! so simple, he's Jacks/Christians dad, no one else, although i dont think he's too relavent, unless more is revealed.. is he a surpreme jacob?!? or am i getting carried away. Obviously this could make no sense, and sorry if it doesn't, and there's gaps such as why would locke call himself jacob on the island? If this is true, the writers are going to have to do a lot of explaining with the time travel and the name changes to make this work, but on the whole, most people have had speculations of jack/locke being involved with jacob and the cabin, truth is, they both are, and what we see now is them in the future from 1970.
