Just a small little thought I came up with today, we have always wondered why many of the Oceanic 6 were absent at the beginning of LOST right after the plane crash. Jack woke up in the jungle far from the beach, the rest of the Oceanic 6 were not at the beach, apart from Hurley... but he may have walked there from waking up somewhere. We have already layed witness to a similar event after the light enveloped Ajira 316 in Season 5... and similarly Jack woke up in the same way as in the Pilot episode right after being on the plane. Now how is it possible for someone to be on a plane, then be laying in the middle of the jungle?
It seemed to me as if Jack, Kate and Hurley were literally 'inserted' back into the timeline, into DHARMA days. A similar process that happens after one turns the FDW, one minute your pushing a wheel on the island, the next lying on your back in Tunisia.
So can we assume that the scene we saw in the Pilot where Jack wakes up and seems to know what to do by running toward the crashsite actually is a time after he and maybe the other Oceanic 6 return to that time?
My theory is that the O6 lost in the days of the DHARMA Initiative are going to discover a way, maybe with Faraday's help, to get back to their time, try and resolve issues and fix the timeline after the crash of 815 and correct the future. And maybe the scene we saw in the Pilot is directly after they use exotic energy - from the Orchid maybe? - to 'insert' themselves back in 2004.
