Dynamic Hypnosis Artificial Reality Matrix Algorithm
A computer generated virtual reality world that is not limited to one person.
Subjects are taken to a real island in international waters, where the laws are less restricting. The subject is then injected with mind altering drugs, once these drugs have taken effect the patients are hypnotized. Subjects are then placed into a virtual reality world they created using the DHARMA method. The machine is an advanced computer which uses a wireless system to deliver the virtual world to the participants. Fiber optic cables shoot light beams to transmit information, a similar method is used to shoot the light is directed into the eye of the subject.
The program is DYNAMIC because it changes as people are either introduced or removed from the simulation.
HYPNOSIS is used in combination with drugs to place the mind in a sort of “tabula rasa” or blank state, highly prone to suggestion.
The virtual world is not real, it is ARTIFICIAL
a simulated REALITY is created for the subjects
The island itself is a MATRIX it is the focus of the all variables in the program
An advanced ALGORITHM generates the virtual worlds seemingly random events.
The purpose of the program is to rehabilitate mentally ill people, criminals, drug addicts, etc..
The others = Doctors attempting to cure the patients.
Jacob = The head of the program, he watches but rarely does anything direct.
The Whispers = People in the room but not in the virtual reality program, sometimes as they talk the patients under the influence of hypnotizing drugs simply hear them.
The numbers = A software bug, the random number generator is bugged and over produces these 6 numbers, the task of entering the numbers was “a patch” a quick fix until the program finishes running at which time they can go back to the program code and fix it for the next round.
It is not possible to simply shut the system down, doing so could cause immense psychological damage to the participants when they shift from the “fake reality” to the “real world”
The doctors started noticing these numbers appearing everywhere in the program a bug was discovered that is responsible for making the numbers appear everywhere. To counter this problem the entering of the digit was created that way the number occurs regularly in the program. Eventually the numbers if left unchecked created a stack overflow (computer jargon) and the program crashes (system failure); the key that despond used in the emergency simply was “a reboot” of the program. The man at the mental institution (last name simm, might be a pun) repeating the numbers is the bug in the program, the reason Hurley won the lottery is because it’s a computer bug when he used the numbers the program bugged out and this is why the numbers seem to follow only Hurley. The numbers simply occur more often than they should which is why he won the lottery.
Ideas why some people are on the island
Jack has a mental condition which makes him the way he is “having to fix everything”, he is also addicted to pain killers and alchaol. His father is responsible for him being brought to the island.
Sawer was in prison because he murdered a man who he thought was someone from his past.
Charlie was a drug addict he entered the program for drug treatment.
John is simply a cripple who had a horrible and very unlucky life, later he tried to kill himself, the doctors are just trying to cure his depression.
Jin and Sun are here for marriage therapy, but Jin is also here for anger management.
Kate always runs from serious problems, oh and she killed her dad also.
Etc…
Once people complete the program and become “cured” in the eyes of the doctor they are removed from the simulation. In order to make sense for the remaining participants in the program they have to explain why the people are no longer on the island, so they just make it appear as though they died, vanished, or just ran away. Theory by lasers in my eyes
