Okay so the other day I had a thought and I may be wrong about this theory but I do think it is cool. Let me know what you think.
Since lost started jacks dad has always been around. We have learnt he was an alcoholic, he had an affair, he died, he resurrected and he is now speaking for Jacob. My theory is that Christian was previously on the island and that these events happened to him because he left. The reason why I think this is because Eloise said that windows are open to return to the island and that jack had to try and recreate the same conditions that got them to the island in the first place. Well if this is true who got oceanic 815 there to begin with. If John had to die to come back who says that Christian didn’t need to die as well. Also jacks granddad was in a nursing home and we see a white rabbit with red eyes (season 5 episode 316) the same rabbits that dharma initiative used to do there experiments on and the same white rabbits that Ben also had. We are lead to believe by lost producers that Christian died because of alcoholism (suicide) but why did Christian turn to alcohol could ! it be because of the same reasons that jack turned to alcoholic at the end of season 3 ‘The beginning of the end’. Jack and Christian both became alcoholics, both had failed relationships, both failed doctors. I believe that Christian needed to go back to the island bringing the oceanic 815 because they were always meant to crash on the island because the window was open. The plane crashed because Eloise also said to jack that if the conditions could not be done then the consequences could be fatal. the consequences was fatal because at the same time as the window being open desmond stopped entering the numbers and that’s what brought them to the island instead of just bringing Christian.
