So Christian was just at the bottom of the well. He seemed to suggest Locke should never follow Ben, but then recommend that Locke do exactly what Ben is having everybody else do. Go to see Mrs. Hawking. So I don't see how Christian is in someway against Ben if they know all the same people.
The same goes with Abadon. He was involved with hiring the freighter crew who were paid by Widmore to be on his ship, however he encouraged Locke to take the path to the island. The only thing that could make since here is that if the suspicious that Locke was never special and that Richard only thought he was special are correct, then perhaps Widmore got Abadon to get Locke to the Island so that Locke could convince Richard he was special, thereby throwing a monkey wrench into Widmore's enemy's plans. Conclusion, Abadon is working for Widmore.
Regarding the well. It looked ancient, but I'm confused because Pierre Change was drilling in order to get to the wheel. Why didn't they just use the well if it existed during the Dharma days? It was only a few feet a way, surely he knew it was there. Likewise, Ben braved Keemy's team in order to get to the elevator of the Orchid. If the well was there, why didn't he just use it and go around them. That is unless they filled it in at some point. I guess they had to. So during the last flash, did the losties wind up in very very ancient times before the wheel was built, or after it had been filled in. From the looks of it, with no sign of the wheel, it was before the wheel was built. But that would mean the losties are currently in a time predating Dharma by a ton. If our assumptions are correct that what John has done has stopped the time jumping, then how do the losties get to the Dharma days again where we've seen Faraday. The well is very odd.
I don't make much of the Jin/Rousseau reunion and whether or not she recognized them. A it had been 16 years. How many people who you knew for a total of 2 days would you recognize from 16 years ago if you saw them in a crowd of 40. Rousseau never talked to him as one of the losties, he had short hair and was much less rugged. That, and there is a real phenomenon where members of any one race tend to blend members of all other races together. She never heard his name in season 1, so she probably just thought he was some Korean guy. It's not really significant.
Horace and Olivia are Charlottes parents. If you recall Horace was going a tad nuts and building his cabin out in the woods. He knew something was up. Olivia wanted to get away by a different method and literally left the island.
I know Jacob exists, because in 1954 Richard responds to Locke's staing that Jacob sent him. But why would Jacob be living in a cabin that was built by a Dharma man in the mid 80's. And why is Christian Shepard in the cabin? Jacob, Christian, and Horace, up until this point have had absolutely zero, zip, nadda to do with eachother. So why are they the only 3 related to the cabin. Strange. Theory by Locke4God
