After watching last night's episode I was a left a bit confused.
Considering the fact that the O6 are running "out of time", and they all seem to be in the same place (LA), we're pretty much lead to believe that the following will occur: They rescue Hurley, and bolt the mainland to get back to the island (plane/boat/sub - it doesn't matter right now).
That said..... what the heck is going to happen to Ji-Yeon? From what we've been told, she's chilling in Seoul with Mrs. Paik. Which I guess is ok, but I don't think DL + CC would just leave a loose end like that.
Thus, my theory:
Sun will leave Ji-Yeon behind, whether it's her own decision (thinking she'll return with Jin and everything will be hunky dory), or if she's forced to go (Sayid laying a judo chop), either way, Ji-Yeon is staying in Korea. That is of course, until the O6 get back to the island....
I believe that once the O6 get back to the island, and "fix" whatever it is they need to fix, that everything that occurred after they left will be erased. Think of it like this, since the O6 were never meant to leave in the first place, they've been living in a "fake" life/universe/timeline.
That said, when they go back to the Island, and say abracadabra, that that "alternate" life will simply be erased, and they will all start living the life they were supposed to live on the island.
THUS, Sun (along with everyone else) will be returned to the point in time on the island were everything "originally" went wrong (the hatch, calling the freighter, etc). Sun will then be (or will still become) pregnant, and give birth or die trying (trust me I hated writing that as much as you hate reading it) to Ji-Yeon on the island...
