Note that regardless of the time-skipping our Time Travelling Losties have done/will be doing, the Island’s been moved to 2000 or 2001(The year of the Beechcraft crash)which is well before the crash of Flight 815 - setting the stage for The Final Iteration of the Flight 815 crash and its aftermath - with the Time-skipping Losties possibly interacting with the Final Iteration Losties as Whisperers.
No wonder The Six have to Go Back. I’m guessing that we’ll get to see Charlie (in an Iteration previous to the Season 1-4 version) programming the LG jammer and (in the Season 5 and 6 Final Iteration - where Team Hawking/Linus finally get everything right) that Claire and Aaron will finally be seen boarding the chopper at Lostie Beach as per Desmond’s Flash.
The fact that Ben, in TOTC said: "There may actually be survivors" tells me that in a previous Iteration of the Island Time Loop, the plane crashed as planned, but there were no survivors.
Note also that Juliet’s shoulder’s been dislocated 3 times previously to the instance we saw in “Left Behind”. I’m guessing that Team Hawking/Linus have been “tweaking” the Iterations (as in “Run Ten Tests”) to get things to work out right this final time around. Note that we saw Christian (in Mobisode 13 entitled: “So it begins”) send “Vincent” to wake Jack up to begin the Second-last Iteration, which we all watched in Seasons 1 through 4.
The tweaking mentioned above includes Ben warning Jack that he shouldn't leave the Island and yet not taking any action that would have stopped him. Note that Ben could easily have intercepted Team Jack (who were completely unarmed) before they reached the Radio Tower. Note also that Tom's instructions to Michael were to blow up the Kahana long before it reached the Island - an outcome that The Island ("not yet") and Ben ("I refuse to kill innocent people") prevented. Ben needed the Kahana to get close to the Island, needed the Keamy genocide to occur and the Island/Jacob/Widmore needed Alex to die. Ben admitted as much to Hugo.
Ben knew that Jack and The Six HAD TO leave the Island long enough for Aaron to age a few years, and that Jack and the rest of The Six had to WANT to Go Back - thus the guilt that Ben laid on Jack, thus the "death" of Jin and the "threat" to Aaron all had to happen per plan.
While Ben was playing his part in the second-last Iteration, he was also out-foxing the Conspiracy opposed to the Hawking/Linus Agenda by arranging for the deaths of a whole slew of Hater "Loyalists", including Ryan, Mikhail, Danny etc
