Warning: This theory contains some spoilers based on the Season 5 Promo.
If you have not seen the "You Found Me" video by The Fray yet, I highly encourage viewing it. It is filled with plenty of easter eggs, or maybe they are red herrings.... I don't know? But it is a good song and video nonetheless.

In the video, at 2:35 we appear to get a scene as to the remaining Losties very first reaction after the island “moved”. They all look confused, don't they? They even seem to be asking the question, "Where are we?" or "Where did our camp go?"
And during the video we do see unfamiliar people with guns, and people with yellow hazard outfits on, and people shooting flaming arrows towards the Losties. Who are these people? I think these people are the islands original inhabitants, the hostiles. There is more evidence that the island moved back this far in time in the latest Dharma Video with Pierre Chang. The person talking to and filming Pierre Chang sounds an awful lot like Dan Faraday.
In the "You Found Me" video we see Charlotte and Faraday sort of “captured” by people with guns. After being captured they were taken to Chang. Between the both of them (Charlotte and Dan) they convince Chang they are from the future and begin to inform him of what is about to happen to him. Charlotte, from what we know, has done her research on the island and may know of the Purge that is about to occur to Chang and his people.
I am convinced that all this combined is leading us to believe that the island moved back in time to the time of Pierre Chang, the DI, and the hostiles.
