Now Lets Jump In!
The LOST producers have said that with each season they try to reveal more and more about the island. Well, as we know revealing more about the island not only progresses the sotry but, it also tells us what the overrall theme of the story is.
After the revelations of season four, i believe the overall story of LOST is about a bunch of survivors who are manipulated by two very powerful people for their own benefit. Of course, there are many other elements to the story but season four primarily focused on that.
Think about it:
The Oceanic 6 off the island are pretty much unknowingly picking sides [Sun with Widmore and Jack and Syaid With Ben]. Widmore and Ben need "rabbits" to get their work done, since both of them cannot reach the island or kill each other. I truly believe that the Losties, we've come to love and adore, are all just "rabbits" in the overral game, being used and experimented on.
Ben and Widmore Are Psychics/Healers:
There has been so much speculation as to how Ben seems to always be in charge and have a plan, well it is because he is a psychic. How? Isaac Of Uluru [Rose's Faith Healer] is a prime example, he stated in the episode "S.O.S." that he harnesses the energy from the unique area he lived in and uses that to heal people. The energy he was talking about was electromagnetic and the place he was in was Australia. Now, Richard Malkin [Claire's Psychic] states the same thing and he also lives in Australia. Hmmm?
This brings us to our next Topic... If Australia has the same unique properties of the island, does that mean people can time travel to it as well?
Tunisa & The Polar Bears:
In Episode 2 of Season 4 [Confirmed Dead], Charlotte comes upon an excavation site, where a polar bear skeleton is being unearthed. So we know the Dharma Initiative were testing the polar bears, and now we know this at one time also included Time Travel. In "The Shape Of Things To Come" Ben is shown laying on the ground in Tunisia, we later find out in "There's No Place Like Home Pt. 2 & 3" that he teleported using the Frozen Donkey Wheel. So is Australia also capable of receiving teleporters from the island? I think so and here's why! In the episode "Numbers" Hurley goes to Australia, to visit Sam Toomey, in the episode Hurley learns that Sam heard the numbers in the South Pacific along with Leonard Simms [who Hurley was in the Mental Hospital With]. But i think Sam Toomey and Leonard Simms were both on the island, and used the Frozen Donkey Wheel to escape [during the incident]...
Libby & Leonard Simms:
They were both in the Mental Hospital and they both have some connection to the island. Many people believe Libby is connected to Ms. Hawking. I think Libby was hired by Mr. Widmore and here is why.
Mr. Widmore sponsors a race around the world, he is using this race to try and find the island. Then Libby meets Desmond in a coffee shop and their conversation just happens to get centered on Penny, a boat, and The Race. Libby gives him her late husbands boat and is on her way. Libby is the reason why Desmond reached the island, the reason why Penny found the island, The Reason Why Alex died, The reason why Ben will kill Penny. It all comes from Libby's decision to give Desmond the boat. Also, Libby was in the mental institue with Hurley and Leonard. Leonard was a spy for Ben and Libby was a spy for Widmore. Both sides have been infiltrating each other for years, and since Ben and Widmore knew of the future... They planted spies in the mental hospital with Hurley.
this theory has some flaws and i left alot out... but my fingers are screaming with pain...
