Its a long one folks so bear with me ^^
January 2009. Mark your calanders because thats when its all going to kick off, the beginning of the end. For 4 seasons we have sat and watched as the rollercoaster that is Lost has twisted, turned, corkscrewed and loop de looped. What do the writers have instore for us in the final 2 seasons?
Well season 5 will be getting back to the island. Ben wants to get back for starters and that guy always has a plan. Kate, Sun, Sayid, Hurley, Aaron and Jack need to be back on the Island. But why. Why does the island want them back?
John Locke answers that question. He says that there "not meant to leave". Is it possible that the O6 need to be back on the Island to course correct things? Widmore changed the rules, did he take 6 key players out of the game at the same time?
Season 5 will have 2 main story lines. The 815ers on the Island and the 815ers off it. On the 1 hand we will see the O6 trying to get back to the Island, i have a feeling that Sun will find out that Jin is still alive and may start the whole ball rolling. There story line will span the years leading upto there return to the Island.
The 815ers on the Island will settle down ready for there new lives on the Island. The island has moved and Ben is gone. Locke is in charge now and everyone gathers together as a new group of "others". There storyline will follow only a short timeline. Locke will get sat down with Richard and through a series of flash backs will explain about the Island and about Dharma.
There storyline could span a day, a week or a month but it wont be long. Why? Because they have moved forward in time when the Island moved. What is a week to them may have been 4 years for the O6. Remember in Lost perception is everything.
The O6 will get back to the Island, looking a little older maybe a little wiser. The ones stuck on the Island will not have changed and they will come running when they realise that there friends are back after only a week!
Then the big explanations will come (in the final episode of S5) about the time travel and Locke will see his body in the coffin. Theres a rumble and the ground shakes, something has gone terribly wrong!
Cause and effect. John Locke knows what needs to be done, he moves the island again and ends up teleporting back a few years. He rounds up the losties and gets them to back to the island.
On the Island, everything has been course corrected. There back on the Island and the Island has just moved.
