Hello everyone,
I've heard some amazing theories and great ideas, but what i really think is going on in my
own opinion is that, despite all of the time travel ideas and the desmond teleport scenes, and so on and so on is that this whole LOST ..is just a "GREAT STORY"~!, ...and i didn't just base my ideas off the comic book i just seen in cabin fever i've been thinking about this for a while now, I think the Sheppard's are just great story tellers, (primarily Christian) and that whole thing, all the smoke monsters, the black rock, whitmoore, ben, the boat, the four toed statue everything is all part of it. People could say "what about this? or what about that?" ..when it probably never happend to begin with'! it is just a story being told, possibly by jack now.
I think that all those people on the island are just people jack and kate already know in there lives. I think jack and kate DIDN'T meet on the island, but they've already been together for a long time and now, the whole Jack was married before thing..was probably either true and he just broke up with her, or it too never happened or it was just a patient he helped. I think they want you to think that there's this whole grand scheme of things, possibilities of time travel, portals, black holes, etc ... ..when really it all just circles around to where it started which is ..a Great Story. Infact thats why you see christian and Claire in the cabin, because they are the Sheppard family, and Jack says to kate while while he was reading to clair's child, "my father was a great storyteller" ..i think when you see Jack and Kate at the end of season 3 ..I think Jack is just mourning his father's death, and has just lost his mind when he says we gotta go! back to the island, because it reminds him of his fathers Great Story's and to him that is the best memories he had of his Dad; and kate know's it but she simpathyzes with him because she cares for him, and that all those people on the island Again are just people in Jack's life that he incorperated into this "Great Story"
John Locke could be Jack's best friend who helped him through thick and thin when times got rough for Jack ..thats why Locke is the "superhero" of the story sorta speak, Sun and Jin could just be a couple that kate and jack know or used to double date with, sawyer could be an old friend of jack that kate had started showing interest in, and the combination of him losing his father and the betrayel could send jack overboard ..etc. Maybe there is someone in the coffin that you see on the island, but that does'nt mean that they Were .. on the island.
I dont know for sure but after thinking about all this that was one of my Major Ideas that came across my mind... I could be wrong but hey its fun to think things out
i have more idea's to my theory, but i just wanted everyone to get a rough draft of things
