Cuse says. “I don’t think it’s ‘Is she dead?’ I think it’s like, ‘Where is she?’
Lindelof continues… “...Claire is in the cabin, and she is sitting next to a guy who is dead, and nobody is saying ‘What’s up with that?’"
Let me try and answer these questions. Where is Claire? Claire is in the past.
She is sitting with a dead guy and nothing wrong with that because in the past Christian is not dead, Claire is not and everything is quiet normal. (Is it?!)
I can support this theory by 2 facts:
1- Claire's attitude in the cabin and her character reminds me of the young Claire when she had those black eye shadow, acting like doesn't care about the whole world around her (Season03Ep12 Par Avion).
We have seen that Claire's character has evolved from being careless in life (Par Avion), not wanting to raise a baby(Season 1), then to wanting the baby more than anything in the world, caring to raise him in a good way, and then back in Jacob's Cabin, she's careless again.
Looks like this is the old Claire to me.
2- Aron is left alone, because Claire is in the past, Aron doesn't exist in the past, he can't go with her where Christian, her daddy took her. They had to leave the baby, or that's the natural process it happened, if you don't exist in the past, your can't go there.
Jacob's cabin might be in the past as well, and that's where people from the past should be, I am not sure about this idea here but if Christian didn't want Lock to see Claire there, why couldn't he hide her somewhere else? Feels like there is no way for Claire but to be in the Cabin after what happened to her.
Guess more can be developed here.
