MIB started all this..not jacob by danny

Have an open mind...You have to look at things out of order in order to put some of it together.

1. MIB (as John locke w/Richard and Ben) tells Richard to fix locke (time traveling locke) and give him the compass and he will have to bring everyone back and he will have to die.(presumably so Flocke can take over his body and kill all the candidates...

2. That get John locke (time traveling locke) to go see richard in the camp and give him the compass.Which first gets Richard interested in bringing locke to the island in the first place in the 60's. This sets everything into motion.

3. Because locke and all of them are looking for richard, Faraday and them get to dothe whole jughead thing which essentially causes the truce to be broken.

--If daniel never visits that camp and the whole jughead thing..he never comes up wit hthe idea in the 70's to blow it up..(which leads to his death)..

4. Flocke making locke bring everyone back causes a major issue in the 70's (which he knows will happen)..He shoots young ben,The losties decide to use jughead to try to get back to their time...

--i believe had they kept drilling they would have still wound up building the swan.but in doing so they would have had their people in it all this time hitting the button,essentially not missing hitting it and causing the plane to crash.They couldnt do this because they were all killed..reason for that is below.

--But the losties came back started trying to get back.Juliet and sawyer get caught and Sawyer draws a map to the others for radinsky. Presumably dharma goes after the others and this starts a war that ends in the purge.

--Widmore trying to find the island has teh boa race in which Desmond winds up on the island..misses hitting the button and the plain crashes...

Flashfoward to 2007....Flocke has his body,jacob is dead, and Flocke had all of the candidates on the island which will give him the oppurtunity to kill them all and get off the island....



I believe Jacob touching them was him trying to intervene to help them choose the right path (which they did not) had they chosen the right or should i say LIGHT path....they would have wound up in the Flash-Sideways reality...

They did notso they are in the DARK-Island reality....
