Kate & the Valenzetti Equation by YourConstant

So the whole point of the Dharma Initiative was to create a science team that could solve the Valenzetti Equation and essentially change one of the the core numbers - 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 & 42 - in the equation in order to prevent doomsday from occurring.

Kate's name was not crossed out in Jacob's lighthouse and appeared next to the number 51...is it possible that Kate is the solution to the equation? That by substituting one of the other numbers with 51 the world will be saved, the cork won't come off and everyone will go home happy (except MIB, of course)?

Each of Jacob's possible 6 candidates represent one of the numbers and Locke is number 4, so replacing him makes sense.

I'm not sure who is who other than Locke being 4 and Kate being 51 or I would've posted everyone's number, but since Locke is the most likely substitution, check this out...

Right now the numbers are:

4, 8, 15, 16, 23 & 42

By switching 51 with 4 it actually creates a new pattern:

8, 15, 16, 23, 42 & 51

Suddenly by changing Locke with Kate an odd-even pattern develops, now I am not a mathematician but that makes a whole lot of sense to me. Way more than back-to-back even numbers that're followed by odd-even...now the whole sequence becomes even-odd.
