LOST/ALT/NUMBERS EXPLAINED - 12 reasons flocke is new jacob and why lost HAS to be mysterious by docotoctopus8

the show is very yin and yang

in this philosophy yin becomes yang and visa versa in a continuous cycle like troughs becoming peaks becoming troughs from stone dropped in water or a seed growing towards the sun(yang) and then falling to the ground /decaying and the new seed starting over(yin)

so lets say flocke becomes the new jacob and the current jacob used play the role of mib - what does this explain from what we have seen

1. RICHARD SEEMED CONFUSED WHEN HE VISITED YOUNG LOCKE.

i think richard expected john to suceed jacob and therefore was surprised when he sees smokie picture on wall by locke junior and locke picks what i guess are mib objects. i think that richard does not understand that when jacob/yang and mib/yin are replaced it is by mib/flocke/yin becoming jacob/yang and one of jacobs/yangs candidates becoming new yin/mib.

2 JACOB VERY NONCHALANTLY "KNOWING" HOW MUCH MIB WANTS TO KILL HIM - AND BASICALLY ALWAYS IN CONTROL AND SUPREMELY CONFIDENT UNLIKE MIB

because jacob used to be mib in previous cycle with someone else in jacob role and actually felt those feelings himself

3 JACOB VERY CALMLY LETTING HIMSELF BE KILLED (note flocke is in jesus position in lost supper - he will eventually become jacob and let himself be killed as jacob has done)

all part of the plan

4 IT GIVES THE LOST WRITERS AN DECENT ENDING WHICH HAS A COMMON THREAD INTO HISTORY AND A COMMON THREAD GOING FORWARD.

it sets up a ending where we understand a form of this loop will continue forever - how else can they do that without having some common thread from the current cycle to the next cycle - most people agree that lost is some sort of loop - my idea is that it is a loop which ultimately is not stuck in time

5 IT GIVES A FITTING CONCLUSION TO THE PERSONALITY STRUGGLE BETWEEN MIB AND LOCKE WE ARE SEEING IN FLOCKE

7FITS IN WITH IDEA THAT LOCKE AND JACK ALWAYS PLAY OPPOSITE ROLES - THEY ARE NOT BOUND TO BE EITHER SCIENCE OR FAITH - THEY ARE BOUND TO BE THE MIRROR/OPPOSITE OF EACH OTHER(science vs faith - in original timeline locke is faith and jack science - in alt timline it is opposite)

IMAGINE THE ENDING - IT FITS (not a real reason but what the flocke)- the link between each cycle is mib - imagine flocke in white and sheppard in black having the same conversation as original jacob and mib on the beach - imagine shepard having to be in the dark for the next god knows how many millennia. ha ha ha. CRY ME A RIVER JACK. i would love it if it finished with camera on jack feeling trapped for milennia but we as the audience know our little fixer will eventually become jacob and fix the world. CUE MUSIC - -just because im losing - doesnt mean im lo-o-o- st.(COLDPLAY/LOST) .

8. MIB DOESNT THINK THE ISLAND NEEDS PROTECTING - cause he doesnt understand jacobs role and wont until he becomes the new jacob/yang

THE SEED OF YIN(BLACK) IS IN YANG(WHITE) AND THE SEED OF YANG IS IN YIN.
this links to lost perfectly because the seed of jacob is in mib because

flocke is on the path to become the new jacob
jacob gave something of himself when he touched locke (and we can see lockes personality coming out in flocke)

and the seed of mib is in jacob because

jacob used to be mib
the candidate who is lined up to replace jacob actually becomes the mib first before going on to become jacob
jacob touched the the new mib giving something of himself to him -probably jack

10. THIS IS WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN REVEALED TO US AS VIEWERS, OR THE LOSTIES THE VERY NATURE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING - MIB IS IN THE DARK UNTIL HE BECOMES JACOB AND JACOB CANT TELL ANYONE AND RISK HIS ULTIMATE GOAL OF STARTING A NEW CYCLE( and changing a valenzetti number in the process thus saving the world) -everyone is a pawn except jacob and if any pawn knew the master-plan mib might find out and the losties/mib would come off the path that jacob has lain out which would jeopardize the a new cycle and the world been saved. THE NEW MIB HAS TO BE KEPT IN THE DARK FOR THE WHOLE DURATION OF THE NEW CYCLE.

to know the path and walk the path are two very different things

11. A LOT OF HINTS ARE IN THE LOST SUPPER POSTER THAT POINTS AT YIN YANG - PLUS THE DHARMA SYMBOL IS PRETTY MUCH A FORM OF YIN YANG SYMBOL- THIS IS EXPLAINED IN A MORE DETAILED RAMBLING POST UNDER YIN=MIB=EVEN NUMBERS - THIS ALSO EXPLAINS WHY I THINK SAYID-16 WILL BE THE NUMBER TO CHANGE (my numbers post at the end of this gives a slightly different take)


i am leaving out the role of the colour red which also plays a part (kate?) in lost and there is a yin yang red buddha type symbol which i havent looked into

THIS IS MY NUMBERS POST - IT EXPLAINS NUMBERS AND ALT UNIVERSE - I AM PUTTING IN HERE CAUSE IT FITS IN SO WELL WITH THE WHOLE YIN YANG THING AND IT EXPLAINS ALT DIMENSION ETC

yin and yang is often explained in terms the cycle of a fruits life
the numbers are a representation of the life force(human and environmental factors in valenzetti equation) of the world and the world is subject to yin yang cycles

the original timeline is like a fruit that has fallen to the ground and is decaying - its life force is spent and it is sick
i would equate this with the numbers in the original timeline being bad luck for hurley and generally cursed and the world is gonna end (the fruit is dying)

the new cycle is like a freshly planted seed just starting to grow - its life force is pure and strong- it is not identical in its dna (its numbers) to the previous fruit
i would equate this with the numbers in the new timeline being very good luck for hurley and generally pretty cool and different to original numbers

following this reasoning the new timeline will be the main one - right now as viewers watching lost we are seeing the decaying fruit (original timeline) plant the seed of a new healthy baby plant (new timeline) -WHICH IS WHY THE PRODUCERS SEE THEM BOTH AS EQUALLY REAL

so now we could maybe predict that new jacob (flocke) and new mib(jack?) will crossover to new timeline to carry on this new cycle
