Okay, here is my Theory...

If Juliette set off the bomb, which prevented the incident, which sank the Island, which killed all the others, which means Widmore could not be banished, which means he would never be trying to get back, which means no boat race for Desmond, which means no button to forget to push, which means no crash of oceanic 815, which means no Losties, which means no Freighties, which means no Faraday, which means no time travel, ?????, which means no one to blow up the bomb, which means the island would not sink, which means the others would not be killed, which means Widmore would be banished, which means he wants to get back, which means he cons Desmond into a boat race, which means Desmond will forget to push the button, which means Oceanic 815 will crash, which means we will get Losties, Freighties, Faraday, Time travel, Oceanic 6, AJIRA 316, back to 1977, Juliette set of the bomb, which prevented the incident, which sank the Island, which killed all the others, which means Wid! more could not be banished, which means he would never be trying to get back, which means no boat race for Desmond, which means no button to forget to push, which means no crash of oceanic 815, which means no Losties, which means no Freighties, which means no Faraday, which means no time travel, which means no one to blow up the bomb, which means the island would not sink, which means the others would not be killed, which means Widmore would be banished, which means he wants to get back, which means he cons Desmond into a boat race, which means Desmond will forget to push the button, which means Oceanic 815 will crash, which means we will get Losties, Freighties, faraday, Time travel …

Noticed how in the new one loop I left out NO OCEANIC 6 , NO AJIRA 316, back to 1977 and just put ?????


That is because I believe that is the common link to both timelines.
AJIRA 316 and our 1977 Losties. I believe that in the NEW timeline all our familiar faces will somehow be on AJIRA 316. It will hit the spot where the island would have been ( since it moves, right? Wouldn't move even if underwater?????) and it casues a flash that wrecks the plane as it lands in a timeflash induced 1977. All die except Sawyer, Juliett, Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Jin, Bernard, Grace, and maybe Miles. They would be in DHARMAville with no idea of what was up. No Farady to talk about a bomd. No Jughead to explode. They would be stuck, live and richard would see them die when ben gassd the island.

This would create the other path we have been seeing for 5 years, and would explain why some of our AJIRA guys went back to 1977 and some did not


That would make sense with all the " destiny", "not suppose to leave", .

A loop.
A loophole, get it.

Now the question is what is the exact nature of the loophole and how did Jacob countermand it?
