I think its safe to say the bomb always was the incident because if they did change the future then they wouldnt be there to set off the bomb in the first place and the producers said they not going to put paradoxes in the show. Also things such as Radzinsky editing the Dharma films, Dr chang losing his hand, Sayid always shooting Ben, etc. I think the bomb was the incident and Miles was right that doing nothing would be best. Daniel was wrong. After telling us over and over you cant change the past they wouldnt go back on it. Yes 1977 was the lostie's present but it was also the past for everyone else and after everything we've been told about course correction, i believe the bomb was the incident. Just my opinion guys
