John Locke's Mom, maybe not crazy... by Johnny Knoxville

As most theories do, let me start off by saying if this is a repeat theory I apologize, but always wanted to post one and with it being the Christmas season, I thought why not…

So if we remember back when Locke first met up with his mother, she told him that he was immaculately conceived. After we meet the late Anthony Cooper we learn through his remarks, that this must make him Jesus. Well we know he is not, but here comes theory…

What if Jacob or even MIB did through their powers impregnate Locke’s mother? This would mean that Jacob/MIB could have been planning this even as early as then. Remember when Locke meets Richard in 1954 (I think this was the date) he tells Richard when and where to find him. This theory can work on many different levels. The first is the obvious they needed someone divine to help save the island, much like the Christmas story. Locke certainly had his shares of trials and tribulations much as Jesus did in his life. The culmination was Locke being sacrificed for what reason again? Because he was told in order to save them all your going to have to die John. Who else died to save mankind…

The theory also works for those who feel that Locke has been Flocke since the donkey wheel incident as some have stated in theories previously. This means that MIB/Jacob set this plan in motion since then to make sure she is pregnant. They could have manipulated Anthony Cooper. Notice that we do not know much of his back story, but we know he has impacted Sawyer and Locke in huge ways. If they knew all of this information about Anthony Cooper and could get him to the island so quickly, surely he could have been either on payroll from Widmore or Eloise to carry out his path?
