LOST Theories - DarkUFO

First time poster, long time reader...

I find asking the questions we have about the show out loud to be very helpful.

"Why would MIB need a loophole to kill Jacob?"

My theory is a WHH and furthermore, that you MUST not change the past because to do so would 'kill us all'.

MIB lived a life, and he died. He never killed Jacob during his lifetime, so he can't just go back and kill Jacob without unraveling the universe. This is why he needs a loophole, ya dig? Simple enough, right?

"But, how does he get in Locke and manipulate Ben?"
He can mind-travel like Des, and can even venture past his own time-line, provided he goes into empty vessels... I'd hope you can finish this line out Ben stabbing Jacob.

"WHH."
It is the same reason why E.Hawkings can't let Desmond marry Penny, and why she can't tell her son not to go back to the Island and get shot... by her. Whatever Happened, Happened. If it doesn't the universe can't handle such a course correction, and implodes like the hatch...

-Bonus Mini-Theory - The Hatch: 1977-
It's being built. Juliet & bomb fall down the hole Kate and Locke will descend 27 years later.

Remember the fail-safe key Desmond turns?

The bomb does not go off. But the good 'ole boys of the DI do use it to to rig a fail-safe in case the experiments go wrong.
(Jughead = Fail-safe.)

Bonus Mini-Theory #2 - Widmore's Gay Vacation

"Why doesn't Widmore come back to the island on the freighter?"

Because Widmore knows he has been banished. How does one get banished? By turning the FDW. (But Luke we saw Widmore in cuffs escorted by Ben into the sub?) That's the 2nd time he is leaving.

I propose that Widmore will turn the FDW around 1977, this will do 2 things.
1 - Banish Widmore.
2 - Return the Losties to 2007.

Then Widmore will make his way back to the island (just like our banished friend Ben did after turning the FDW) where he will eventually find Ben is now the HNIC and get kicked out via cuffs and sub.

"So, Why doesn't Widmore come back to the island on the freighter?"
Because he already did once after banishment, and knows it's pointless.

That's all for now, let me know what you think. Let me know if anyone else has reached any of these, I think it's pretty original for the most part.
