Ben remembered Juliet from his childhood by Martin Yankov

Do you guys remember episode 6 of season 4, called “The Other Woman”? Most people don’t think it’s as good as the rest of the season, but it was absolutely my favorite episode. Just because I love Juliet :)

Anyway, back to the point. So in this episode there was a female therapist called Harper. Harper makes a comment to Juliet during one of her sessions that the reason Ben has a crush on Juliet is because she looks just like "her”. So who do you think that “her” is?

Personally, I think that “her” is Juliet herself. The child Ben remembered the grown up Juliet, the doctor, who took care of him and was nice to him. With Ben don’t having a mother and having a bad father, it’s not wonder that he liked this parent figure in his life. But something happens and Juliet is gone and that kid never sees her again. Till one day, 20 years later, he sees a picture of a doctor, who looks exactly like her and has the same name. So that’s when he knew he should not stop, until he get and keep Juliet on the island.

It’s possible that Harper didn’t know all of that. She just saw a Namaste picture of Juliet from the past, or some old picture and she knew Ben liked that woman in his childhood. So she came to the conclusion that Ben likes the new doctor because she looks like the woman he loved, when he was a kid.

If my theory is correct, that means that everything Juliet did when she was in the 70-s didn’t change anything, it just made the things the way we know them.
