hey this is my theory dont post many so im guessing it will sound stupid but whatever here i go...

I read many theories here on this site... just wanted to point something out that nobody ever talks about. Karl. Who the hell is he?

We have never been told where he is from, he was kinda mysterious character. he is just a teen on the island? how was he born and where was he born? Obviously ben hates him because of alex, but ben seems to really hate him.

Here is my theory.... If all this alt reality comes true then its possible that the losties are on the island still throughout time as leaders of the others... Just think its kinda funny Karl...Kate...? Its possible sawyer and kate conceived him on the island? It would be very ironic that sawyer was locked in a cage next to him and the whole time he is his son... He kinda looks like kate. Maybe ben hates him SO much because he know he is sawyers son and ben never got along with sawyer. If sawyer is one of the temple leaders he would maybe be an extreme a-hole to ben. I've heard sawyer is going back to his roots maybe thats what they are talking about.

Its also likely alex knows kate.. thats why she helped her... She likes karl and knows kate is his mother.

One more thing that proves the alt reality... when ben and kate are having breakfast by the beach in the episode a tale of two cities.... Kate " you dont know me" ben "(strange look on his face) of course i dont" He may know her very well and has since he was a child when she brought him to the temple
