LOST Theories - DarkUFO

Again, with the prefacing. Read part 1 of my Nuclear Fission Theory. This is a continuation based solely on the conclusion that Jack was successful in preventing the Oceanic Flight's crash.

Say Jack prevented Oceanic 815 from crashing. Now they are all mainland, operating with the memories of their life on island, watching as the universe course corrects itself appropriately. Again, I'm assuming that the Island's history is constantly changing, either in small nuances, or in complete resets. Because, if you have an "Incident" where Jack and Co. successfully prevent the crash of 815, they never make it to the island in 2004. Therefore, Jack and Co. never return to the 70's to cause the incident, and the Hatch is built and 815 Crashes. Then Jack and Co. go through the events of seasons 1-5, again causing the incident. Boy, I hate to use the word "alternate", but it seems we're alternating between two histories. That alternate. Yin and Yang, Black and White, Incident and No Incident. When you don't have the Incident, 815 Crashes. The Crash of 815 eventually causes the Incident. When you have the Incident 815 doesn't crash. Push, Pull, Push, Pull.

Wobble, Wobble. Stuck forever alternating between two (not necessarily battling) past times. Jacob and Steve (Tired of hearing Esau, MIB and Anti-Jacob. I will refer to him as Steve) are perhaps trying to Wobble the island back and forth. Trying incessantly to push the Island into their preferred version of History, gaining only futility in the process. Accomplishing nothing. Insanity is the repetition of past behaviors and patterns while expecting a different result. Jacob and Steve are insane.

The next part gets too messy, and I will sort it out better before posting in depth, but for now, a small tease. If all our Losties land safely in L.A., wouldn't it be possible that they theoretically have to convince some other version of themselves to return to the island? Because if the other versions of themselves don't return to the island, the Incident occurs and 815 doesn't land safely. This gets very messy. And I apologize for creating a million paradoxes. I will let smarter people figure this out. Charlie says to Hurley, "I died on the Island, but I am also here." Jeremy Bentham says.......

Wouldn't Mr. Bentham be the one to land safely in L.A.?
