Not much of a theory as something I just noticed....sorry if anyone has already pointed this out. But it seems that TPTB told us long ago that Desmond's and Juliet's lives would parallel. The song "Make your own kind of Music" is both the song we hear in Juliet's book club flashback and in Flashes Before Your Eyes........both times Desmond is in the bar and waiting for proof that he isn't imagining the future. If you look at the lyrics of the song they specifically point to a person's ability to make their own choice in a situation. I think the combination of Desmond and Juliet's choices will shape Season 6.
