2 Lockes Explained by Rude Boy

Something we don't know much about is the years between 2004 - 2007 on the island in present time.

When Ben pushed the wheel he sent the 815ers, freighter crew and juliet skipping through time, eventually ending up in 1974, and living for 3 years. However, Richard and the others did not go through time, I believe the island moved in space for them but not in time. Richard and the others were there for 3 years.

When Jack detonated the H Bomb, he didn't erase everything thats happened. He created an alternate timeline that's been running parallel to the one we've been seeing. The island has only one reality, however off island there's been two.

Theres a reason why Richard said he watched them all die, because he did. The reason why Sun didn't flash back in time was because Sun was the only 815 survivor to survive the entire original timeline. The reason why all the survivors had to die, was because their alternate selves from the alternate off island reality will all be returning to the island, with their original island memories up until when they died. And they all needed to die because 2 alternate version of themselves could not co-exist in 1 reality on the island.

When the bomb went off, they all died. I think they all will wake up on flight 815 with their memories of the original timeline up until the point that they died. This part I am not sure of, but I believe it might be only the people Jacob touched that will keep their memories. Jack, Locke, Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid, Kate, and Jin. I have a feeling Sun is not going to exist in this timeline, and Jin is going to be devastated about this, but will have a chance to re-unite with her if he returns to the island in 2007.

When Locke wakes up on Flight 815 him and Jack are going to be excited to see eachother, exchange a lot of information. John will tell Jack that the last thing he remembers was Ben strangling him.. and dying. Jack will be surprised. Locke is not going to happy that Jack reset everything with the bomb, however, he is going to happy that he has another shot at this with all his original memories. Locke is going to be paralyzed, and his life will continute to suck, so just like last season he is going to try and get everyone to return, however they wont want to because they are getting the chance to live their lives. Alternate Locke is going to return to the island by himself, shortly after Ben turns the wheel and they all disappear. There was a reason why Locke needed to die, because his alternate self was coming to the island.

So here we have Richard and the others, and all of a sudden another version of Locke shows up on the island, (still 2004 at this point I believe). This time, locke wants to do things differently.

I think Richard is the MIB, and if he isn't, than he's working for him. I think that Richard (our never aging man) has been doing a good job of pretending he has no idea what's going on. When Alt Locke showed up, Richard was expecting this. Over the next 3 years Alt Locke and Richard were secretly working together to put together the last stages of the loophole. Richard tought John the secrets of the island, explained everything thats been going on and everything that needs to happen. The others did not know Alt Locke was on the island due to the fact that he was staying on Hydra Island (where 316 lands.) So Richard tells Alt Locke the plan and everything that needs to go down, and that when everybody comes back they need to act like they haven't seen eachother in 3 years.

Locke fakes his resurection, Manipulates Ben, and everything that we saw happens. When Jacob tells Alt Locke that they are coming, he's talking about the alternate 815er's. I think everyone will crash on the island that was on the plane, except for locke (because he's already there), and Sun (she didn't die, so therefore she doesn't exist in the other timeline). This is the reason she did not flash back in time, and this will be the way we will see Jin and Sun re-unite.

The years they spent off the island, I think Jacob was there telling them what needs to happen. They were probably all reluctant at first, but Jacob probably was putting together his counter loophole in the off island alt reality. When the crash, they are all going to have a purpose and a mission. Some of these alt losties even visited original Hurley when he was off the island. They were only able to talk to Hurley as he is special and can exist in multiple realites. It is the reason why when he saw Charlie he said "but I AM here"
