This is a wild prediction and I’m going to guess WHY Radzinsky caused the incident. I theorise that Radzinsky was originally employed as a test subject for the Swan. The Swan has been sending people back in time in a repeating loop to see what affect it would have on them. Radzinsky discovered what they’d done to him and in one of his travels back in time he altered things and to take his revenge. He turned the wheel which I believe allowed him to mind time travel back into his own past self to learn about theories on electromagnetism and how it could be used to manipulate time and the Dharma experiments. He became a Dharma scientist and caused the incident to take revenge on Dharma for experimenting on him in a previous time loop. It took me three pages of A4 to come to that theory but I’ll spare you all the reading.
