1.Just some thoughts, they say hurley talks to dead people, but they aren't actually dead people. It's the man in black impersonating people that have died on the island.He visits Hurley and makes him think that he has some sort of power to see the dead.Thats why jacob tells him in the cab he is not crazy.think about it, he impersonates dead bodies and everyone knows that. the reason he does that is because if he impersonated a living body his cover would be blown because there would be two of one person. Therefore hurley has been getting brainwashed by the man in black, or maybe jacob who possibly can do the same thing. No matter what one visits hurley, he will be very important to whatever kind of war or conflict that happens in season 6.
2.The smoke monster was not around in the 70's. We know that because it did not appear in the 70's. Its very logical for one to assume that it was created by the incident. People probably have already posted that idea but it's just something to think about. Its highly probable the tunnels below the island have a path that leads to the swan area. Its possible thats why the cement is in the swan to block the tunnels from being accessed.the smoke monster(radiation mixed with electro magnetic energy)got created when the nuke went off. In my opinion when sayid said he was going to set the nuke to detonate on impact he actually sabotaged it and the full power of the bomb was not realized and thats why nobody died or the island was not destroyed.
3.Everyone assumes jacob and the mib are from the past. Its probably more realistic to think they are from the future. The reason to think that is because jacob knows whats going to happen before it happens. screw that timeloop crap or alternate reality. lost is way to smart to go that route it would be an insult to everybody who watches the show. Jacob says it only ends once and anything before that is only progress. That means that everything happens once. there is no timeloop. Its possible the mib cant kill jacob himself because jacob hasnt been born yet. its possible anyone from the future cannot kill one another. Same thing goes for Richard alpert.
4.Desmond could be important in the final season as well. There is an episode where desmond is being discharged from the guard, he has the book that he is going to read before he dies. The guy at the counter says as long as you know when your gonna die.. desmond then gets a look on his face like he does know when he is going to die. thats why every time we see him in a position where he is going to die and he grabs the book, he never reads it because he knows what is going to happen already. he knows he will live and he knows the exact time and spot he is going to die. He just denies it because he knows its going to be on the island and he does not want to think about the island. The point is he already knows everyones fate and is going to be a major part of the 6th season.
5.Possible season 6 beginning. On a plane we see a stewardess preparing food and beverages for the passengers. Suddenly jack, Hurley and everyone else that flashed to 1977 wake up on flight 316. the same one that crashes on the island with dead locke in the cargo. This time they dont flash they just crash with everybody else. This time jack will be there and he will see locke alive. He will not trust locke just like the 1st season. Now that they flashed back to the regular timeline, everything that happened will happen differently. remember the outrigger that was shooting at sawyer and locke's boat? Im willing to bet that its jack and kate's boat firing at them in 2007. Also i think that sawyer, miles,jin nobody who flashed to the past using the frozen donkey wheel will flash to the normal time. they will stay in the past and we will get the island's story from 1977-2004 with flashbacks to them. They will not age, because they are from the future. So when everyone eventuall! y does reunite, like sun and jin, they will look the same because they will not age but have been living on the island for the last 30 yrs.
Just some ideas that i wanted to throw out there. Feel free to rip me apart or enjoy them whatever happens happens... or maybe we are in an alternate reality.. or a timeloop.
