Eloise realized how important Daniel's impact was on the Dharma initiative and buys in to course correction so much so she raised Daniel to be the twitchy genius we all know and love. Thus, the circle completed itself. Daniel was his own self-fulfilling prophecy and responsible for his own misery in life.
