Hey guys, I wrote this theory a couple days ago but I don't think it ever got posted, but if it did, im sorry. Anyway, here goes it.
For this theory I am tring to explain what happened to the 77 losties after the "explosion" of Jughead. The main thing that made me think about this theory was Jacobs tendency to give the pieces of his chess match a "choice" of wheather or not they want to play (see hurley). With that said, I came to the conclusion that may support both WHH and a alternate timeline theory. I think that istead of being flashed to LAX, as Jack said, the 77 losties will rather be flashed to Sydney airport right before thier plane takes off. From there they will be given a "choice" on weather or not to board the plane.
This scenario would make things very interesting. Becuase they were touched by Jacob, the losties will still have memories of what will happen if they do choose to board the plane. I believe that although Jacob does give humans a choice, the losties will still somehow be influced to board the plane by Jacob, MIB, a third party, course correction, or maybe the island itself.
We also must remember that even though the 77 losties will have thier memories, thier circumstances will almost make it so they have to board the plane; Kate is in custody, Jin is with Sun (which should be interesting), Sawyer just killed the wrong man in cold blood, Hurley almost missed the plane, Sayid was on his way to see Nadia, and Jack was on his way to bury his father.
The key to this whole set of events will be John Locke and the question of weather or not he still retains his memories of his island expeditions. As Locke said last season, only one person really has to be convinced to go and the rest will follow, and that person is Jack. I believe that Jack will seek out locke in the airport and finnaly see that John was indeed a criple before he got to the island. Locke will have no memory but the two will still have some conversation about fate and destiny and they will all decide to go on the plane. At some point after the flight takes off, or more likley shortly after the plane crashes, they will be flashed to some point in the future; I predict some time before jacobs death. They will all end up naked in the jungle a la desmond after turning the fail safe key. They will find cloths at the beach and hurley will find a extra set of clothes in his guitar case. At some point after they flash to the present it will be revealed that Locke w! as fibbing and he does indeed possess memories of his island days. This will put all the losties back in the current timeline along with an alive and well John Locke.
Ok, sorry I really started to ramble there. Hope the theory made sense and feel free to tear me apart in the comments, cya.
