Hey guys, just a really quick theory i had about what happened after the jughead goes off. Havnt read any theories in a while sorry if im treading the same ground.
Ok, the main thing that made me think of this theory is Jacobs tendency to give humans a choice in thier actions. I believe that after the flash the 77 losties will be transported to sydney airport before the flight of 815 boards. Because of Jacobs tounch they will know full well what will happen if they decide to go onto the plane, but what is important here is that they have a choice.
Where this might get tricky is trying to consider what reasons the losties have for going back on the plane. Will they want to? will they be influenced by outside forces like jacob or MIB? will we see the Jin/sun reunion 5 minutes into the episode but in circumstances we could have never predicted? and most importantly will the still paralized John Locke retain his island memories like the others did?
What direction the show goes from there is anyones guess but i like to think they will all get on the plane. Once they board i think they might end up naked in the jungle a al desmond after turning the fail safe key (does anyone else thing desmond just detonating a nuke when he turned that key?). What time they end up in, im not sure but i would guess it would be around the present time before jacob is killed. I also have a crackpot theory that inside the guitar case is charlies guitar and an extra set of clothes for hurley. It would be a very funny way to tie up the plot hole of hurley ending up naked in the jungle and somehow finding a set of clothes that fit him. lol.
